BRING YOUR GAME TO SAN ANTONIO.

The Basketball Embassy is pleased to present Assembly 2016, our second annual week-long convocation of select basketball players and coaches from across the world. Join us June 12-19, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas.

Following up on the success of the inaugural Assembly 2015, we'll once again be challenging elite international and American players that seek to extend their playing careers at the highest level - American high school students advancing to college basketball, and international players advancing within their club or National Team system (though being a member of your National Team is not required to attend camp). Campers will receive training and instruction in both individual and team settings, in addition to strength and conditioning components integral to their success. The entire experience will not only help them improve as players, but also as human beings interacting in what continues to become a smaller world. Assembly 2016 will create an environment conducive to a first class cultural exchange intertwined with the game that brings us all together.

Assembly 2016 is an invite-only camp open to both male and female players, born 1999, 2000 and 2001 (exceptions for '98 and '02-born players are possible pending approval). Each gender will cap its attendance at 30 American and 30 International players (120 total players) to keep the experience as hands-on as possible while maintaining a good balance of backgrounds. Players looking to attend can request an invitation via the form at the bottom of this page.

What to expect

Each day, campers will attend 2-3 sessions consisting of on-court practices, weight/physical training sessions, swimming pool workouts and other conditioning activities, all led by our staff specialists in these respective fields. Due to the rigorous nature of these sessions, the Assembly is not intended for beginners or players with minimal experience. The camp will also include competitive matches against local teams here in San Antonio. These games will be officiated by registered referees and will be filmed for recruiting and scouting purposes.

Who Will Be Attending?

The Basketball Embassy is proud to provide an environment that not only allows the exchange of basketball knowledge and passion, but a sharing of cultures representing several continents. Male and female players (in separate sessions) will be instructed at Assembly 2016 in both team and individual settings by coaches from all over the world. NCAA, NAIA, and junior college coaches will also be in attendance throughout the week to observe and meet the players. This is a great opportunity for anyone considering playing basketball at an American University.
