A graphic designer by trade, James Wetz fell in love with basketball at age 9.

Following his graduation from Texas Lutheran University, he and fellow TLU alum Chris Dial spent parts of the next decade tossing around ideas for basketball-themed ventures. Ultimately, the general concept for The Basketball Embassy was born, and James helped develop the name and brand identity, along with fulfilling various other behind-the-scenes roles that made flagship events like TBE’s Assembly series possible.
