The world is chaotic, and while the past half-decade of Assembly has served as a great reminder of what can happen when we unite around a common passion, it doesn’t change the overarching perception and perhaps reality that we are growing more divided as a society.
In a basketball game, when your team needs a break and a chance to refocus, you call a time out. During this, the 5th anniversary of our flagship Assembly event here in San Antonio, we’re starting the new tradition of taking time to unite and refocus on our world and our community.
We’d like to invite you to Time Out, a chance to share a meal and a general consciousness that we feel is extremely important: that sport, specifically basketball in our case, has the power to enable, equip, and enrich young people across the planet. For our inaugural event, our topic of focus will be on empowering young women through sport. We look forward to sharing our stories and spearheading a great conversation from all of our guests (you!).
We hope you are able to attend, and would appreciate your RSVP at the bottom of this screen. Please include any guests that may be accompanying you, as well as any important dietary restrictions.
